Hospitals and Public Healthcare Institutions are places where there is the greatest direct threat to patients related to the incorrect functioning of technical installations, which is why their proper design, construction and operation are so important. ENGIE SAR as an expert in air quality issues for clean rooms and hospitals has been promoting topics related to air quality for years. The Vice-President of the Company, Mr. Andrzej Różycki is a co-author of the 2018 study entitled "Guidelines for the design, build, site acceptance and operation of ventilation and air-conditioning installations for entities providing medical services" improving the quality and safety in health care, published on the website of the Ministry of Health: https://www.gov.pl/web/zdrowie/materialy-pomocnicze. The guidelines were recognized by the Warsaw University of Technology, receiving the Rector's Award for didactic achievements in 2019.

Many years of experience in Management and Operations of air-conditioning installations in hospital facilities were confirmed by the fact that the Company founder (currently Vice-President of the Company), Mr. Andrzej Różycki, obtained the qualifications of a building surveyor in the field of precision air-conditioning for the so-called clean rooms.

The RCI ActivePure® technology works in the presence of people, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, destroying pathogens both in the air and on surfaces..

Principle of operation:
The heart of the system is a hydrophilic matrix in the shape of a honeycomb, covered with a coating made of nanoparticles, e.g. titanium dioxide, rhodium, silver and copper. Under the influence of light and steam, chemical reactions occur on the surface of the matrix, resulting in the formation of: hydrogen peroxide, as well as superoxide and hydroxide ions. They have strong antibacterial and antiviral properties, remove dust pollution and allergens, reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and neutralize unpleasant odors.
